After spending over two years in early access, Core Keeper launched in full for PC and current-gen consoles last month, and given how well it has been received, and how well it did over the course of its extended early access period, it’s pelo surprise that the game has got Core Keeper Gameplay off to an impressive start.

Core Keeper is a gem in the sandbox genre that offers a rich and varied experience in a fascinating underground setting. Despite some drawbacks, such as excessive grinding and a somewhat flat skill system, the game excels in its ability to deliver an immersive and fun experience.

You’ll start by creating a character with one of several class specialties, though things will even out the more you play, so the choice doesn’t carry as much weight as it initially seems to.

Don’t worry too much. It doesn’t really make a huge difference beyond the first hour or so, and if you sink a decent amount of time into Core Keeper

It’s a great value at $13, but don’t let it overstay, either. Just because you can automate rare scarlet ore mining with a drill, conveyor belt, and a robot arm, that doesn’t mean you strictly “need to.” It can feel like progress for progress’ sake.
